\nMammography Tech - (Mam - Mammo Tech)\n

\nStartDate : ASAP \nAvailable Shifts : 8 D \nPay Rate : $3089.27 - $3385.05 \n

\n\n\nMammo Tech for Baltimore, MD\nPerform a variety of tasks involving the operation of mammographic equipment and other equipment / devices with adherence to established company policies and protocols.\nProduce high quality diagnostic images in a timely manner while providing excellent patient care.\nUnderstand and use compression, exposure modes, filter, KvP, Mas, grid selection, focal spot size, AEC selection, photo cell selection and other adjustments and factors on the equipment in order to produce high quality images.\nMonitor patients’ well- being during exams; recognize patient discomfort or medical problems and take appropriate action.\nGuide patients through this sometimes-difficult process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process.\nRespond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.\nRequired : \nHologic Experience\n1 year of Experience\nARRT (R) (M)\nMD License\nCPR Certification\nTemporary 13 Weeks\n

Required Qualifications

Mammography Technologist, Mammography

Experience : 1 year

Licenses : RAD-MD; MAMMO-MD

Certifications : M-American Registry of Radiologic Technologists

Hologic Experience

1 year of Experience

ARRT (R) (M)

MD License

CPR Certification

Mammo Techs require the following documentation :

o a copy of MD license

o a copy of current ARRT card

o a copy of Mammography registry certificate (if no date on it, need ARRT documentation showing registry date)

o 8 initial hours of digital training

o 8 initial hours of tomosynthesis training

o 15 current mammography CME's

o Initial 40 hours of training / attestation

o Current 200 mammography stats
