This position will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our Residential Treatment Programs in Lafayette, including management of staff, ensuring smooth operation of the facility including support with client admissions and discharge, and ensuring Evolve is meeting all compliance requirements for JCHAO, CARF, CCLD.
Job Responsibilities
Staff Management :
- Provide direct supervision to 10+ Residential Counselors and Overnights Counselors, Academic Coordinator / Chef
- Approve direct reports PTO requests in accordance with Evolve policies
- Oversee performance management of direct reports including 90 day reviews, annual reviews, disciplinary actions
- Oversee recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and offboarding of RCs, Overnights Counselors and Chef / Academic Coordinator
- Ensure staff complete all portions of Evolve University
- Manage staff schedule, be available during the week for after hours call outs by staff and troubleshoot solutions to ensure that there are not solo shifts
- Ensure hourly staff are properly clocking in and out and taking required breaks and monitoring / managing overtime
- Participate in weekend on-call rotation and find appropriate coverage for call outs to ensure that no shifts are uncovered.
- Identify training needs to counselors and chefs and facilitate trainings as needed or as requested by Clinical Director
- Provide relevant operations updates in Treatment Team meetings
- Conduct 2 day Manual Trainings for new RCs one to two times each month
- Provide floor coverage if a staff is solo for more then 4 hours and if alternate coverage is unable to be found.

Facility Support / Compliance
Ensure facility compliance with accreditation and program standards, including CCLD, CARF, and Joint Commission requirements.Oversee facility safety protocols including stocking of emergency food supplies, conducting checks and tests for regular and emergency food supplies, smoke detectors, fire extinguishers, and that all emergency drills are completed and that emergency binders are current and updated.Ensure weekly house calendar is updated and includes vendors, emergency drills, Evolve holidays, staff birthdays, and any other relevant information each monthSubmit Incident Reports and participate in incident report debriefing, as neededOversee facility purchasing and take weekly inventory of all facility supplies and ensure that the facility has all necessary supplies on handEnsure Chef is maintaining compliance with food labeling and storage, menu standards, temperature logs, etc. in the kitchenMonitor and oversee Chef Budget(cross referencing receipts) and Facility Budget(house credit card and petty cash)Assist with food transportation between programsEnsure staff office is neat and organized and supplies are put away in a timely mannerEnsure house is tour ready at all timesEnsure that the physical grounds and interior of the facilities are well maintained and coordinate with Director of Facility Operations to coordinate repairs and upkeep needs of the facilityCoordinate with experiential vendors and approve invoicesReview Overnight Kugadi checks and ensure that overnight tasks are completed nightlySubmit approved reimbursements to accounts payable for approved expensesOther duties as assignedClient Support
Provide client supervision and counselor duties during critical staff shortagesAssist with successfully facilitating client admits and dischargesAssist nurse in providing transport clients for off-site medical appointments and lab work, as neededOrganize weekly client Saturday outings with Clinical Director and schedule sweet treatsCoordinates client discharge surveysOther duties as assignedHours : Tuesday - Friday 10am -6 : 30pm, Saturday 9am - 5 : 30pm
Payrate : $31.80 - $35.80 / hour
Requirements :
Previous supervision and management experience preferredAbility to multi-task and have excellent time management and organizational skillsAble to communicate effectively with clients, staff, colleagues, and supervisorsExude a respectful and professional demeanor and demonstrate appropriate boundaries with staff, parents, and clientsPossess the ability to stay calm in stressful situations and respond to emergencies appropriatelyBA degree preferredMust be 21 years or olderMust possess a valid California driver’s license and reliable form of transportationMust be able to pass a LiveScan background check and clear federal and state criminal background checks, and child abuse indexes.Must be willing to interact with COVID-positive clients, as neededWillingness to participate in after hours On-call rotation
