Assistant Project Manager

The Assistant Project Manager assists with responsibilities including, but not solely limited to construction, remodeling, and miscellaneous CapEx projects for all projects assigned to their Project Manager. The Assistant Project will focus on Submittals, RFI's, Pay Request review and processing, and communications with subcontractors on the job site.

Responsibilities include :

• Assisting the Project Manager in all facets of the construction project from planning to closeout with industry best practices.
• Communication with the design team of engineers / architects to answer RFI's for bidding, permitting, and construction.
• Assist in the tracking of project budgets, manage invitations to bid, and review proposals for a complete scope of work.
• Assisting in the administration of subcontract agreements.
• Assist in the tracking of project schedules.
• Grow and learn in the areas of constructability and value engineering techniques to provide the best value for projects.
• Review tenant improvement documents and ensure design plans are in alignment with delivery requirements.
• Identify project risks, develop mitigation plans, and implement action plans to reduce or eliminate impact.
• Monitor, control, and track all the change management processes on managed projects.
• Keep the Project Manager informed on all significant updates of the project, schedule progress, financial status, and relationships.
• Coordinate requirements with utility companies for services and municipalities on required inspections and occupancy permits.
• Assist in all maintenance functions with RKR 3rd party tenants and RK Stores as needed to lead or support.
• May be required to cross-train and perform other duties.

The pay range for this position is $50,000 - $70,000 annualized and is bonus eligible. Exact compensation is determined by factors such as relevant geographic location, education, certifications, experience, job level, shift, and organizational needs.
