Opportunity Details
Medicus is collaborating with a hospital in western Kentucky that has an opening for a skilled Interventional Cardiologist to provide locum coverage.
Opening Details
- Schedule : 24‑hour call shifts, 3‑7 days per month
- Setting : Inpatient / EMTALA call
- Patient Population : Adults
- Duties : Procedures, general cardiology consults as needed, and reading studies (including EKGs, ECHOs, and stress tests)
- Required Procedures : Balloon angioplasties, coronary angioplasties, percutaneous coronary interventions, heart catheterizations, and coronary angiograms
- Support Staff : 2 interventional cardiologists
- EMR : Epic Cupid
- Board certification required
- Paid travel & expenses
