Patient Access Representative
An employer is looking for a Patient Access Representative within a call center environment in the Los Angeles, CA area. This person will be responsible for handling about 50+ calls per day for a Cancer Center in the Los Angeles area. The job responsibilities include but are not limited to : answering phones, triaging patients, providing directions / parking instructions, contacting clinic facility to notify if a patient is running late, scheduling and rescheduling patients' appointments, verifying insurances, and assisting with referrals / follow up care, speaking with clinical staff, responding to voicemails / emails, and handling work queue items. This position is fully on-site for training. Once trained, it will go fully remote (on average based on performance you could go remote anywhere from 2-3 months). Shift time will either be 8am-4 : 30pm or 9am-5 : 30pm. Training will be 8 : 30am-5pm.
