Hours : full-time (37.5 hours per week)

Location : Lynchburg, Campbell, Appomattox

Position Summary

The Clinician LMHP / LMHP-E will assess the needs of individuals referred to the program and use information obtained to develop and implement appropriate treatment approaches and counseling support services. These services include developing individual treatment plans, conducting assessments, providing counseling services, and educating individuals on available community resources.

Required Education and Experience

• Master's Degree from a program that prepares individuals to practice counseling (60-hr Master's Program) , which is offered by a college or university accredited by a regional accrediting agency. (Re : 54.1-3500 of the Code of Virginia)
• No experience required.
• Resident in Professional Counseling, Supervisee in Clinical Social Work, Resident in Licensed Marriage, Family Therapy, Resident in Substance Abuse Treatment, or eligibility to apply for residency.

Note : New hires will be expected to apply for clinical supervision and residency within 30 days of hire.
