Responsibilities : Machine

operation :

Start, run, and monitor the

pelletizing equipment, adjusting settings for optimal performance,

yield, and quality.

Quality

control :

Perform in-process testing and

checks to ensure pellets meet specifications, using tools like

calipers and scales.

Maintenance

and cleaning : Perform preventative

maintenance, such as lubricating parts and changing filters, and

clean the machinery and work area to maintain a safe and efficient

environment.

Troubleshooting : Identify

and address equipment malfunctions, clear jams, and report major

issues to supervisors or maintenance staff.

Record

keeping :

Maintain detailed logs of

production data, quality control results, and any issues

encountered during the shift.

Required skills and

qualities : Mechanical

aptitude :

A basic understanding of

mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems is beneficial for

operating and maintaining the equipment.

Safety-conscious : Adherence

to all safety procedures and the ability to identify and correct

unsafe conditions is critical.

Attention to

detail :

Must be able to notice small

variations in the process and product, and follow instructions

carefully.

Proactive and

independent : The ability to work

efficiently and accurately, and to take initiative to solve

problems without constant supervision.

Technical

skills :

Experience with production

processes and data entry is often required.
