About the Role

As the Group Product Manager for Autonomous Vehicle Experience, you will lead the product strategy and execution for the rider experience in AVs. This role encompasses the end-to-end rider journey, including in-app experience, in-vehicle experience for happy and unhappy path flows. You will be responsible for building a best-in-class safe, reliable and delightful AV-first experience and will work closely with cross-functional teams and external partners. This role requires a strong technical background, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for driving innovation in the autonomous vehicle space.

Core Responsibilities

In this role, you will :

• Lead the strategy and vision for the best-in-class AV rider experience
• Lead a team of PMs who will work with you to drive towards this vision
• Educate riders about AVs and build a safe and transparent experience
• Generate demand and grow rider affinity for AVs
• Design a seamless ride experience, including frictionless pick-up and drop-offs, vehicles controls before, during and after trip and on-trip experience both in-app and in-vehicle
• Ensure a high quality rider experience when things don't go as planned
• Collaborate with AV tech partners to improve and co-design the rider experience including both software and hardware

For New York, NY-based roles : The base salary range for this role is USD$252,000 per year - USD$280,000 per year. For San Francisco, CA-based roles : The base salary range for this role is USD$252,000 per year - USD$280,000 per year. For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
