Quality Assurance Manager
Conduct supplier audits to ensure adherence to established quality standards. In addition, investigate, analyze, and resolve supplier quality issues, analyzing defect trends and leading continuous improvement projects with our suppliers. Lead and participate in food safety and quality system and product / process audits. Know and understand the audit process to effectively execute it to the fullest. Review and maintain the supplier and raw material risk matrix, identifying high, medium, and low risk suppliers. Communicate and schedule audits with supplier and team members. Pre-audit research and planning. Conduct supplier audits. Manage and drive effective analysis by identifying gaps and weaknesses. Implement Corrective Actions Preventative Actions (CAPA) when gaps are identified. Ideate, create, and assist in the maintenance of supplier audit process standard work. Assist in the development of the annual supplier audit schedules and review of self-assessments completed by suppliers. Lead and participate in process improvement initiatives.
