Job descriptionShift : 12-hour shifts (06 : 00–18 : 30, 08 : 30–21 : 00, 10 : 00–22 : 30) Schedule : Every 4th weekend, holiday rotation, on-call Description : Administers x-radiation to produce diagnostic images for physician interpretation May alternate shifts, weekends, holidays, and take call Performs diagnostic CT procedures; may also perform radiographic, fluoroscopic, surgical, and portable radiographic exams Corroborates patient clinical history with procedure, ensuring documentation for radiologist Prepares patients, provides instructions, and minimizes anxiety Selects and operates imaging equipment and accessories Positions and immobilizes patients as necessary Practices aseptic technique Prepares and administers contrast media; starts and maintains IV access Initiates basic life support (BLS) when necessary Provides patient education Assists with supply and equipment decisions; maintains inventory Provides instruction for students and partners Observes universal protocol, standard precautions, and patient identifiers Applies patient safety principles during all procedures and transport Education & Experience : Graduate of an accredited radiography program; 2 years CT experience required ARRT Computed Tomography registration IEMA-DNS radiography accreditation Approved CPR or BLS certification Guaranteed Hours : 36 Holiday Pay Weekly pay Guaranteed Hours 401k retirement plan Medical benefits Mileage reimbursement Referral bonus License and certification reimbursement Dental benefits
