Position : RN – Progressive Care Unit (PCU)\nFacility : Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital, 341 beds, Level II Trauma\n\nJob Summary : \nProvides acute inpatient care for adult patients with cardiac and complex medical conditions, including ACS, post-PCI / stent, cardiac drips, insulin drips, hemodynamic monitoring, ETOH withdrawal, major vascular surgery, and advanced monitoring needs. Part of the Resource Float Team, rotating to appropriate units as needed.\n\nRequirements : \n\nExperience : Minimum 1 year telemetry / PCU experience\n\nCertifications : BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (prior to start)\n\nEMR : Epic (within past 2 years)\n\nLicense : NY RN or proof of application\n\nSkills : Starting IVs, post-cardiac cath care, managing cardiac / insulin drips\n\nShift & Schedule : \n\nShift : 7a – 7p (rotation posted by facility)\n\nWeekends : Every other weekend required\n\nHolidays : As needed\n\nAssignment Length : 26–32 weeks\n\nFloating : Required to like units\n\nAdditional Info : \n\nTravel rates : $100 standard, $95 (51–100 miles), $90 (≤50 miles)\n\nNo block scheduling\n\nReliable transportation required (personal or rental vehicle)\n\nAll employment gaps >
