Job description

We are seeking an experienced Urgent Care Physician Assistant for a 28-day locum tenens assignment in Oregon. This opportunity begins on Nov 26, 2025, and features 12-hour day shifts with a rotating schedule across multiple dates. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 recent years of urgent care experience, be comfortable acting as the sole provider, and able to perform basic urgent care procedures while managing a patient load of 30-40 per day.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Act as the sole provider in an urgent care setting, managing all aspects of patient care
  • Perform basic urgent care procedures such as suturing, splinting, and wound care
  • Evaluate and treat patients presenting with a wide range of acute conditions
  • Manage patient volumes of 30-40 per day
  • Float between locations as needed within a short driving distance
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation
  • Provide high-quality, efficient care in a fast-paced environment

    • Additional Information

  • Must be licensed to practice as a Physician Assistant in Oregon
  • At least 2 recent years of urgent care experience required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Must be comfortable with 12-hour shifts and acting independently
