Material Handler

As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for managing the flow of materials in a manufacturing and warehouse environment. This includes receiving, inspecting, and recording incoming raw materials, as well as ensuring the accuracy of materials pulled and issued for production. You will play a key role in maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting the shipping department in preparing finished goods for outgoing shipments.

Responsibilities :

• Receive, inspect, and record all incoming raw materials.
• Verify quantities and quality against packing lists and purchase orders.
• Pull and issue materials as required for production jobs.
• Maintain accurate records of all material movements to the production floor.
• Return unused or excess materials from production back to inventory.
• Ensure materials are properly labeled, stored, and recorded in the inventory system.
• Package, label, and prepare finished goods for outgoing shipments.
• Coordinate with the shipping department to ensure orders are complete and accurately documented.
• Perform inventory counts.
• Stand continuously for an 8-hour shift and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.

Work Environment :

The work environment is a 55,000 sq / ft facility that is well-lit, organized, and climate-controlled. Employees will stand continuously for an 8-hour shift and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.

Job Type & Location :

This is a Contract position based out of Huber Heights, OH.

Pay and Benefits :

The pay range for this position is $20.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
