  • Healthcare Setting : 30-bed Med / Surg Tele unit (orthopedic, bariatric, and medical surgical patients)\n
  • Assignment Type : Travel nursing contract\n
  • Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 11 / 3 / 2025 – End : 2 / 2 / 2026)\n
  • Shift : 12-hour night shifts\n
  • Weekly Hours : 36 hours per week\n
  • Estimated Weekly Salary : $1680 - $1800\n
  • Team Nursing Model : 1 RN, 1 LPN, 2 techs per shift, 1 HUC on days\n
  • Remote Telemetry Patients : Yes\n
  • Patient Ratio : 1 : 10\n
  • Scrub Color : Navy Blue\n

    • \n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n \n

  • Active RN license in Ohio or compact state (required)\n
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required prior to direct patient care)\n
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), CCRN, PCCN, and NIH Stroke Certification (preferred)\n
  • Minimum 1 year of RN experience (required)\n
  • 6 months of acute care hospital RN experience (preferred)\n
  • EPIC Electronic Health Record (EHR) experience (preferred)\n
  • Completion of Critical Care Course (preferred)\n
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills\n
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative team nursing environment\n

    • \n\nMed / Surg Tele RN Responsibilities\n \n

  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans\n
  • Safely administer medications in accordance with Ohio nursing standards and facility policies\n
  • Coordinate patient care and facilitate communication across hospital departments\n
  • Champion patient safety and participate in quality improvement initiatives\n
  • Manage care for patients with multi-system organ failure and multisystem trauma\n
  • Monitor and care for patients with IVs, ports, PICC lines, and remote telemetry\n
  • Administer Heparin drips and manage oxygen therapy (up to 6L NC, intermittent BiPAP)\n
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, patients, and families to deliver compassionate, evidence-based care\n
  • Respond effectively to rapidly changing patient conditions and medical emergencies\n
  • Maintain professionalism, practice self-care, and foster resilience in a fast-paced healthcare setting\n
