Job descriptionProvide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the location and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor for unusual or suspicious behavior within the educational environment, reporting as necessary. Assist with access control and visitor management to help maintain a secure environment for students, staff, and visitors. Support Allied Universal and school administration during drills, emergencies, and other security-related events. Document observations and incidents according to established protocols. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree. Possess a valid armed guard card or license as required by state and / or local regulations. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only. Security Officer Armed Campus Patrol

As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment at an educational location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the property, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations as they arise. This armed post requires you to carry a firearm and maintain the appropriate guard card or license. You will interact with students, staff, and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication at all times. What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
