  • Case Mix : Trauma, Cardiology, Imaging, GI, OBGYN, Oncology, Ortho, Pulmonology, Urology, Stroke, Neuro

    • FACILITY INFORMATION

  • No. of Beds in Department : 38 ED Beds (including 8 Fast Track)
  • Trauma Level : Level II
  • EMR System : Cerner
  • Support Staff Available : Scribes (40 hours / day), APPs (20 hours / day)
  • Specialty Backup Available : Cardiology, Imaging, Gastroenterology, OBGYN, Oncology, Orthopedics, Pulmonology, Urology, Stroke Center, Neuro, Cardiac Rehab
  • Reason for Coverage : Supplemental Coverage

    • JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Licenses : Active TX Medical License, TX DEA
  • Board : ABEM BC / BE or Osteopathic Equivalent
  • Certifications : ACLS, ATLS, PALS
  • Additional Requirements : 2 years of CME and case logs, immunization records (TB, Flu, Hep B, MMR, Varicella), SS card, driver s license, color photo, EMR in-person training before first shift, 8 hrs stroke and 8 hrs trauma CME annually

  • Provide emergency care in a high-volume trauma center
