Job descriptionPossesses critical thinking and problem solving skills. Possesses effective oral and written communication skills. Possesses effective interpersonal relationship skills. Technically competent in tasks within the scope of practice of an Ultrasound Technologist. Ability to utilize computers for documentation purposes.
Under the direction of the specified shift supervisor or leading certified sonographer, performs wide range of ultrasound procedures on patients of varying ages, completes all associated tasks and responsibilities necessary to manage patient care needs while patient is in department for procedures.

Required Experience
Work Experience :
Must have successfully completed all prior clinical rotations & in final semester pre-graduate.
License / Registration / Certification :
BLS (CPR) certification required.
Education and Training :
Enrolled for credit in the clinical portion of an approved / accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program
