The Opportunity

We are seeking a full-time Associate Immigration Attorney with removal defense experience to join our team in Richmond, VA. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate attorney who thrives in a collaborative, mission-driven environment and is ready to make a meaningful impact in clients’ lives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent clients in removal defense matters , including immigration court hearings and appeals.
  • Manage a varied immigration caseload , including but not limited to asylum, cancellation of removal, adjustment of status, waivers, and related relief.
  • Conduct client consultations and maintain regular, clear communication with clients in both English and Spanish.
  • Prepare legal briefs, motions, and other filings with a high level of accuracy and professionalism.
  • Work collaboratively with a team of attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure the highest standard of legal services.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities and contribute to the firm’s growth and culture.

    • Qualifications

  • Active U.S. law license (any state).
  • Fluent in Spanish (required).
  • Experience in removal defense .
  • Must be able to work in person at our Richmond, VA office.
  • Positive attitude, enthusiastic work ethic , and commitment to client-centered advocacy.

    • Compensation & Benefits

  • Starting rate at $105,000 annual salary, could be higher depending on experience
  • Quarterly profit sharing .
  • Health, vision, and dental insurance – 100% employer-paid .
  • 401(k) with 4% employer match (eligible after 12 months of service).
  • 5 weeks paid time off , plus some paid federal holidays.
  • 12 weeks paid parental leave .

  • Relocation assistance up to $5,000 , based on distance and expenses.
