Salary : $105K - $115K + Discretionary Bonus

Full-time / Hybrid Schedule | Deer Park, TX

Creative Financial Staffing has partnered with a client in the Southeast area of Houston, TX, a privately held industrial services company.

Overview of the Role :

  • Lead month-end close processes, journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
  • Maintain general ledger integrity and perform reconciliations and variance analysis.
  • Prepare and analyze project gross margins, cost of sales, and profitability.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for regional operations.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls.
  • Maintain ERP master data and support system improvements.
  • Collaborate with AP to ensure accurate invoice coding and vendor payments.
  • Assist with audits, tax filings, and fixed asset management.

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • 5-10 years of progressive accounting experience in a plant or project-based environment.
  • Strong understanding of cost accounting, project accounting, and ERP systems (Viewpoint Vista preferred).
  • Experience in industrial services, construction, or maintenance projects is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
