As a Freelance Subtitler with CreatorGlobal, you'll be an integral part of our localization team and own the process of creating Romanian subtitles for original English content, with the goal of making our content accessible for Romanian-speaking audiences. If you are fluent in English and a native Romanian speaker with experience in localization (translation, subtitling, and / or dubbing), you may be a perfect fit to join CreatorGlobal.

About the Job

As a Romanian Subtitler, you will be responsible for the creation, translation, editing, and delivery of Romanian subtitles for MrBeast-affiliated unscripted content. You will handle all steps of the subtitling process and ensure prompt delivery of subtitles to the CreatorGlobal Leadership team.

This position requires a thorough understanding of industry-standard subtitling best practices, familiarity with streaming style guidelines, and a passion for sharing your language.

Additional expectations include ad-hoc localization tasks such as metadata translation, subtitle versioning, and collaboration with your larger regional team.

What you'll do

• Create subtitles in Romanian, ensuring linguistic accuracy, cultural appropriateness, and compliance with language rules.
• Receive feedback from Language Coordinator and effectively implement feedback into revised subtitles.
• Meet tight deadlines while subtitling multiple projects and respond to Language Coordinators' QC feedback within 24 hours of receipt.
• Assist in creating localized metadata for regional audiences where necessary.
• Maintain clear and timely communication directly with your Language Coordinator, studio partners, and CG Leadership.
• Build familiarity with the Beast brand – understanding key players, recurring themes or references, and affiliated brands is the best way to become an effective, engaged, and helpful resource within CreatorGlobal.

Preferably you live in a primarily Romanian-Speaking region or locality.
