Who We Are
Pelsue is an industry leader in manufacturing worker safety products and vehicles for the telephone, utility, and satellite communications industries. We recently moved to a new facility in Aurora, CO. Multiple production areas in the factory include a metal fabrication shop, trailer and van manufacturing flow lines, specialty vehicle build stations, safety product lines, and an in-house tent shop.
Who You Are
As a Product Line Manager at Pelsue, you are the driving force behind the success of a specific product line. You balance leadership, planning, and execution to ensure manufacturing, quality, and supply chain alignment. You take Ownership of the entire product lifecycle and demonstrate Versatility by supporting engineering, procurement, and manufacturing functions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Operational Support
- Assist in day-to-day product line operations, including scheduling and tracking production runs.
- Coordinate with Buyers to ensure timely material availability.
- Monitor product performance metrics (quality, delivery, cost) and prepare basic reports.
Process & Documentation
Support the Product Line Specialist with product updates and engineering changes.Maintain accurate product documentation, ensuring timely communication across departments.Team Collaboration
Work closely with logistics, manufacturing, and sales teams to align on daily priorities.Learn and follow existing product line processes and standards.Planning & Execution
Lead production planning and scheduling for the product line, ensuring on-time delivery.Optimize workflows and coordinate with supply chain to reduce waste and improve efficiency.Strategic Development
Develop and implement strategies to enhance product line performance (e.g., cost reductions, feature improvements).Collaborate with Engineering on new product introductions and design changes.Cost & Schedule Performance
Manage cost and schedule performance for the product line, ensuring alignment with budgetary targets and on-time delivery goals.Identify opportunities to balance resources and reduce costs without compromising quality.Cross-Functional Leadership
Serve as a liaison between Sales, Engineering, Operations, and other stakeholders to meet product goals.Drive communication to resolve bottlenecks and ensure alignment on timelines and deliverables.Long-Term Strategy & Vision
Define the long-term roadmap for the product line, including market expansion and product innovation.Collaborate with executive leadership to align product strategy with company objectives.Product Innovation & Expansion
Identify new market opportunities; spearhead product development initiatives.Lead cost-reduction and continuous improvement projects to maintain competitiveness.Leadership & Mentorship
Mentor and guide associate product line managers, setting best practices and standards.Represent the product line in high-level reviews, board meetings, or strategic planning sessions.COMPETENCIES

Manages a medium to large cross-functional product team; mentors Associate Product Line Managers and Product Line Specialists.Provides strategic leadership and mentorship to multiple product line managers or specialists.WORK ENVIRONMENT
Primarily office-based with regular visits to the manufacturing floor for troubleshooting and coordination.May be exposed to moderate noise and moving machinery on the production floor.PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and computer-based work.Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. occasionally.POSITION TYPE / EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
Full-time, in-person.Typical schedule : Monday–Friday, 6 : 30 a.m. to 3 : 00 p.m. (overtime as needed).TRAVEL
Minimal, though some travel may be required for trade shows, customer visits, or supplier meetings.REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Education : Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred.Experience :4–7 years of product management, operations, or manufacturing experience.7+ years in a strategic product management role with leadership responsibilities, preferred.Computer Skills : Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.Employment is contingent upon satisfactory results of the background check.
