We are seeking a Neurology Physician for a 346-bed facility in Portsmouth, Virginia, offering coverage from January to June 2024. The physician will work in a clinic / hospital setting with an 8am-5pm schedule and a call ratio of 15%. The role includes both outpatient and inpatient responsibilities, requiring board certification and providing competitive compensation including travel expenses.

346-bed facility in Portsmouth, Virginia is looking for neurology coverage.

We provide malpractice insurance with a tail and the facility pays for your travel expenses. We will cover the cost of the VA license if needed. Please see the details below :

March 27 - April 1 (am-am)
April 9 - April 15 (am-am)
April 30 - May 13 (am-am)
May 27 - June 17 (am-am)

Schedule 8am-5pm; Call Schedule 5pm-8am; weekend call 8a-8a

Average number of patients a day : 8

Average number of hospital-based patients a day : 3

Office Ancillary Staff : 2 LPN, 1 MA

Documentation : Epic / Connect Care

Required Neurology Procedures : Radiologic Exam Interpretation (Unofficial), EEG (Electroencephalogram), Brain Death Exam, EMG (Electromyogram)

REQUIREMENTS

Board Certified - Required

BLS - Required

Covid Vaccination - Preferred

Flu Vaccination - Required at time of credentialing

PAY RATE : Hourly $275 / hr

24 hour call $2000
