UNDERSTANDING
The Inventory Coordinator is an integral part of the MRO and Albanese as a whole. This role has direct influence on inventory value, inventory levels, bill of materials, asset tracking, cycle counts, receiving and bin put away. They also work with different levels of leadership within the company as a whole.
SCOPE
The Inventory Coordinator will help ensure that MRO provides quality service to our internal customers, accuracy in receiving, inventory levels and BOM's; as well as helping drive data accuracy in supporting all Albanese departments.

Responsibilities
Maintain, track, and audit all MRO inventory, including parts, materials, and equipment, to ensure accuracyMonitor stock levels, track inventory movement, and maintain accurate records to ensure sufficient inventory for operational needsGenerate various reports such as tracking inventory levels, variances, and supplier performance metrics, etc.Unload incoming MRO shipments from suppliers and carriersInspect received goods against purchase orders and packing lists to check for accuracy, discrepancies, and damagesGenerate receiving reports and input receipt data into an inventory management systemLabel, barcode, and put away received materials and parts in their designated locations to maintain an orderly and efficient parts roomManage the repair and return process for parts sent to external suppliersPerform regular cycle counts and annual physical inventories to verify inventory accuracy and identify discrepanciesInvestigate and resolve issues related to inventory records, receiving discrepancies, and damaged or incorrect shipmentsWork closely with Accounting to resolve inventory discrepancies and update system.Make inventory adjustments according to policy and procedures and communicate changes when machine uptime could be affected.Prepare and assemble kitting parts for maintenance tasks and projects to ensure efficiencyMaintain accurate, timely, and complete communication between production, planning and purchasing.Assist in the review of at-risk inventory to minimize obsolescenceAssist management in finding solutions to problem areasComply with all company Quality, HACCP, GMP and Food Safety StandardsOther duties as assignedRequirements
Regular and timely attendanceForklift experience is preferredAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and perform work at heightsStrong knowledge of inventory management systems and part traceabilityStrong communication skills – interacts heavily with other departments and suppliers; fully understands MRO is a Customer Service DepartmentAbility to work independently, manage time efficiently, and adapt to changing priorities3 to 5 years inventory control experience requiredEducation
Must have a High School Diploma or a G.E.D.; Experience working with and knowledge of MRO parts a plus.
