PREFERRED EDUCATION : Bachelor's Degree Experience MINIMUM EXPERIENCE : None for Med / Surg and Behavioral Health 1 year in acute / chronic dialysis for Dialysis PREFERRED EXPERIENCE : 2 years in acute care for Med / Surg 2 years in psychiatric facility for Behavioral Health 2 years acute / chronic dialysis for Dialysis Certifications REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSURE : Possession of current Texas State License for Registered Nurse. For RN in Behavioral Health : Non-Violent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 60 days of hire or transfer into department Must have active healthcare provider Basic Life Support on hire (ARC or AHA); however, must have AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire.
