Warehouse Worker
As a Warehouse Worker, you will play a vital role in ensuring that materials are packaged according to general packing instructions and specific customer requirements. You will be trained to apply side bands securely to coils and create coil identification tags using a computer. Your role will also involve operating a forklift to move materials for approximately 10% of your day, while the majority of your time will be dedicated to packaging and maintaining a clean work area.
Package materials according to general and specific customer instructions.
Securely apply side bands to coils after training.
Create coil identification tags by entering data into a computer and printing labels.
Operate a forklift to move materials, approximately 10% of the workday.
Maintain a clean work area by sweeping regularly.
Experience in warehouse or manufacturing environments.
Proficiency in packaging materials.
Ability to repetitively lift up to 60 lbs.
Material handling experience.
Familiarity with warehouse or manufacturing processes.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wheeling, IL.
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
