About The Position

Job Title : Respiratory Therapist - NICU

Profession : Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics

Specialty : RRT-NICU

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Night 3x12-Hour

Hours per Shift : 18 : 30 - 07 : 00

Experience : 1 year required, first-timers accepted

License : Florida state license or compact license required

Certifications : BLS, NRP, PALS, RRT

Must-Have : NICU and Pediatric Critical Care experience required

Description :

We are seeking a Respiratory Therapist with NICU experience.

The therapist will work in a level 4 NICU and level 1 pediatric unit.

Candidates must have experience in airway management, medication administration, and delivery systems.

Knowledge of neonatal and pediatric equipment and procedures is essential.

Skills in ABG interpretation, basic EKG, and chest physiotherapy are required.

Experience with specific ventilators is preferred.

COVID-19 vaccination is required, with medical or religious exemptions accepted.

Candidates will need to float within the hospital as necessary.

This position requires excellent teamwork and patient care skills.

The candidate must be prepared to work every other weekend.

There are no restrictions on time off in the contract, but any requests will be discussed during the interview.
