The company was founded in Bethesda, MD in 2013, to bring fresh, made-from-scratch organic breads, pastries, sweets, and croissant items inspired by bakeries in France to the DMV area. We have expanded to eight retail locations, two production bakeries, and a thriving wholesale business. We serve coffee shops, restaurants, hotels, and grocery stores with fresh products every day, 365 days a year.

We are growing and constantly looking for passionate people to join our team. We are seeking a dynamic team member to fill our positions for Full-Time Pastry Packaging Clerk at our Rockville production center and warehouse (804 Hungerford Drive Rockville, MD 20850).

You will package orders in our warehouse so that wholesale customers receive their orders on time and in perfect condition. We pack, bag and, label thousands of delicate pastries such as eclairs and tartes each day for delivery to various grocery stores and coffee shops throughout the DMV.

Shifts

7AM-3PM

8-10 Hour shift

5 Days a week including Saturday

Tuesday-Saturday

Your responsibilities will be :

Packaging eclairs, tartes and other delicate French pastries

Follow packaging process, rules and food safety standards

To shape cardboard boxes every day

Put in crates of frozen products, which implies a presence in the freezers a few minutes.

Complete logs and reports

Follow directions

Perform tedious repetitive tasks such as bagging, slicing, making boxes

Environment :

Requirements

Experience packaging food in a warehouse setting

Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

Open Availability including weekends

Availability to work Holidays - Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, etc.

Strong communication skills

Reliable transportation to work

Ability to stand for 8 hours

Ability to lift up to 50lbs

Knowledge of food handling is a plus
