Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Transaction Counsel located in Louisville, KY. The Senior Transaction Counsel will be responsible for managing and executing complex transactions, including mergers & acquisitions, specialty debt and equity financing, joint ventures, and partnerships. The role also involves providing comprehensive legal advice, drafting and negotiating legal documents, liaising with stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. The Senior Transaction Counsel will work closely with clients to understand their business objectives and provide tailored legal solutions.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in managing mergers & acquisitions, and specialty debt and equity financing transactions
• Strong background in drafting and negotiating legal documents related to joint ventures and partnerships
• Excellent understanding of corporate law and regulatory compliance
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to provide strategic legal advice to clients with a business-oriented approach
• Proven track record in handling complex transactions in a fast-paced environment
• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school and membership in good standing with the state bar
• Experience in a boutique law firm setting is preferred
