The successful candidate will proactively work with internal colleagues and external parties to provide Corebridge with the best commercial outcomes. The person is both a self-starter and a team player that brings high energy, diplomacy, analytical skills and business acumen.

This is a highly collaborative role demanding ongoing partnership with internal areas including underwriters and pricing actuaries, operations, and legal / compliance with periodic involvement from other functional areas.

As a key member of the PRT team, you are expected to drive continual improvement, focused on the heart of the issue to provide superior solutions that are aligned with the business strategies or determine to change the strategies. As a leader, you will have significant input toward creating and articulating a vision of what PRT Distribution could achieve in the long term (3-to-5-year plan).

Major Responsibilities :

  • Establish, nurture, and grow relationships with pension risk transfer intermediaries and plan sponsors while seeking relevant business opportunities and promoting Corebridge capabilities and experience.
  • Source, organize, analyze and present PRT data including RFPs, sales, client profile statistics, competitive information, and prospective opportunities directly and indirectly related to the pension risk transfer market.
  • Lead and coordinate the preparation of responses to RFPs and RFIs. Includes drafting meeting presentations, written responses, developing and managing marketing materials and / or obtaining internal input and approvals.
  • Manage PRT transaction execution and support new client onboarding
  • Utilize sound business instinct and judgement when providing advice to the team on all matters.
  • Identify market trends and communicate risks and opportunities.
  • Generate ideas on how to best market our pension risk transfer capabilities in the marketplace and on specific transactions.
  • Qualifications Our Ideal Candidate :

  • Experience in Annuity or PRT products, practices, and procedures.
  • Existing and growing network of relevant relationships.
  • College Degree + 15 years relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of and experience operating within a large financial institution.
  • Experience in balancing multiple competing tasks while remaining focused on progress.
  • Demonstrated record of achievement in a business generating environment.
  • Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Superior analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to excel in a dynamic, fast paced work environment.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, E-mail.
  • For positions based in Jersey City, NJ, the base salary range is $215,000-$275,000 and the position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
