ER RN Travel Nursing Job Details

Location : Hinesville, GA 31313 – Coastal Georgia, near Savannah

Assignment Type : Travel Nursing Assignment

Healthcare Setting : Acute Care, Emergency Department (18 beds, 3 trauma bays)

Shift : 12-Hour Nights

Hours per Week : 36 (Guaranteed)

Contract Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 11 / 25 / 2025, End : 2 / 24 / 2026)

Estimated Weekly Pay : $1570–$1680 per week

Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend

Holiday Requirement : Rotated with permanent staff

Self-scheduling : Allowed, with manager approval

Scrub Color : Caribbean Blue (jacket same color or white)

ER Registered Nurse Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room RN experience in U.S. healthcare settings

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Georgia or compact state

BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required

TNCC certification preferred

Strong skills in IV insertion, critical care drips, and multitasking in a busy ER

Experience with ICU holds and community hospital environments preferred

Ability to read and interpret cardiac strips

Excellent communication, customer service, and patient satisfaction focus

ER RN Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality nursing care to diverse ER patients (average 90 / day, up to 140 / day during peak)

Independently manage ER holds and provide care in safety rooms for psychiatric patients

Perform triage and prioritize patient care as needed

Troubleshoot and operate respiratory therapy equipment (Vents, BiPap, CPAP, High Flow)

Draw labs and assist with general tech duties as part of clinical support

Collaborate with physicians, mid-level providers, and healthcare support staff

Maintain accurate documentation using T-system and Thrive charting systems

Participate in a comprehensive unit-specific orientation (3 shifts)
