We are seeking a Commissioning Engineer to join our team in Goodnight, Texas. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing and executing commissioning activities across multiple disciplines in a state-of-the-art Data Center. This position requires a detail-oriented professional with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
Responsibilities :
- Oversee and execute commissioning (Cx) activities across multiple disciplines, ensuring project quality, safety, and compliance with design intent.
- Review, implement, and track commissioning activities for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, controls, and life-safety systems.
- Develop and maintain critical path commissioning schedules to ensure alignment with overall project milestones.
- Coordinate between design teams, QA / QC, subcontractors, trades, and commissioning agents (CxA) to resolve technical issues and maintain progress.
- Create commissioning plans that outline required documentation, testing protocols, and acceptance criteria.
- Prepare and manage commissioning documentation, including procedures, test scripts, and turnover packages.
- Lead commissioning meetings with stakeholders, ensuring clarity of responsibilities, progress updates, and issue resolution.
- Provide technical support during functional performance testing, ensuring systems are validated per project requirements.
- Identify risks and constraints within the commissioning process and implement corrective measures to maintain schedule and quality.
- Support project closeout activities by ensuring documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with client and regulatory standards.

Skills Required :
Must have 2+ years of experience in the construction or engineering sectorMust have broad multidisciplinary knowledgeStrong understanding of commissioning workflows and documentation requirements in mission-critical / data center environments.Demonstrated experience developing and managing commissioning plans, including outlining testing and documentation requirements.Experience leading and managing commissioning meetings with multiple stakeholders.Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and delegate tasks effectively.Proficiency with commissioning software and project management tools (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, or similar).Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and external partners.Education / Licenses / Certifications
