Part-time Library Assistant – Town of North Branford is accepting applications from enthusiastic, motivated individuals who enjoy interacting with the public and have a passion for helping people, for the position of part-time Library Assistant to work in the Atwater and Smith Libraries. This position performs the full range of circulation services, providing exemplary customer service to adults, teens, children, and families and assisting patrons of all experience levels. The ideal candidate will be responsive and adaptive to patron needs and expected to help patrons locate materials, share our services, offer support with technology needs and assist our librarians with collection upkeep and program prep.

High school diploma or equivalent is required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred, as well as relevant experience in a library, education, or customer service-related field. This is a part-time, 19-hour per week position, including evenings and some weekends. Salary is $18.19 per hour. No benefits.
