Specialized care includes orthopedic and surgical services, ICU, women's services, a newborn nursery, comprehensive cardiovascular care from diagnostics to open heart surgery, vascular lab, sleep center, emergency services, the CHRISTUS Weight Loss Institute, wound care, rehabilitation, and more. The campus also boasts an Outpatient Imaging Center and three medical plazas, one of which houses our CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Family Medicine Residency Program and CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Family Health Center.\nSummary : \nThe competent Nurse, in the same or similar clinical setting, practices independently and demonstrates an awareness of all relevant aspects of a situation. Provides routine and complex care, with the ability to on long-range goals or plans. Continues to develop the ability to cope with and manage contingencies of clinical nursing. Makes appropriate assignments and delegates to other care providers as a means to help manage the clinical situation.\nResponsibilities :

Education / Skills\nBachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, preferred\nExperience\n1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred\nLicenses, Registrations, or Certifications\nBLS required\nRN License in state of employment or compact\nPosition Requirements :

Education / Skills\nAll newly hired experienced RNs must attend New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days of hire.\nNew hires are precepted by a designated trained staff member and initial on-boarding requirements are validated through successful completion of the designated organizational entry competency validation and a MedSurg specific competency validation.\nAll newly licensed RNs may participate in a residency program or other specific orientation.
