Summit Design and Engineering Services is seeking a Senior Transportation Design Project Manager to lead and assist in the development of transportation design projects and plans in the Raleigh, NC area.

Skills and Qualifications :

• BSCE or BSCET degree with a minimum of 10 years of progressive design experience in all aspects of transportation design; or equivalent level of experience
• PE license is required
• Knowledge of and experience with Microstation, Geopack , Corridor Modeling and Open Roads are beneficial.
• Experience with NCDOT IPD / PDN and other project delivery methods.
• NC DOT / DOT design experience is preferred.
• Survey experience and data management is beneficial
• Strong engineering analysis and judgment
• Experience in managing and organizing multiple tasks and related disciplines
• Proactive and self-motivated attitude
• Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite including MS Project
