Deputy Chief Information Officer Of Product Delivery

Subject to management approval, serves as the Deputy Chief Information Officer of Product Delivery for the Department of Innovation & Technology (DoIT), supporting the department of Human Services (DHS), formulating, developing, and implementing new and revised statewide policies and procedures for the Product Delivery / Application Development / Web Services area. Speaks on behalf of the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and serves as representative to private, state, and federal agencies regarding IT application development needs, procurements, and maintenance. Serves as full line supervisor. Administers and implements, in conjunction with Infrastructure Support and Data Analytics groups, the development and maintenance of overall DoIT standards and procedures. Formulates the Product Delivery / Application Development / Web Services budget and monitors expenditures to ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines at DHS and for DoIT-DHS. Keeps abreast of new developments in the Product Delivery / Application Development / Web Service field. Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.

Minimum Qualifications : Requires knowledge, skill and mental development equivalent to completion of four (4) years of college with coursework in management information systems, data processing, telecommunication or directly related field. Requires four (4) years of progressively responsible administrative experience in management information systems, data processing, or telecommunications in a public or business organization. Requires four (4) years of professional experience supervising and directing a team of IT professionals.
