Preschool Teacher / Lead Teacher

• Summary

We are seeking a passionate Preschool Teacher to join our team at Rossmoor Playschool. In this role, you will supervise and engage with children ages 2-5, helping them develop essential skills through play and structured learning. This position is vital in fostering a love for learning in our young students.

• Responsibilities
• Supervise and engage with children during daily activities and routines.
• Implement age-appropriate curriculum that promotes physical, emotional, and cognitive development.
• Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and needs.
• Facilitate play-based learning experiences that encourage exploration and creativity.
• Monitor children's behavior and provide guidance to promote positive interactions.
• Requirements
• minimum 12 UNITS in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
• Experience in childcare or preschool settings is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of childhood development principles.
• Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and staff.
