Job descriptionEvaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with acute and chronic pain conditions Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans Order and interpret diagnostic tests Prescribe medications and therapies according to state regulations Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers Document patient care thoroughly and accurately Provide patient education regarding pain management strategies Participate in quality improvement initiatives Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM Four-day workweek options may be considered for the right candidate Autonomous practice for NPs with 2+ years of experience Physician supervision available for NPs with less than 2 years of experience Competitive salary based on experience : $125,000 annually for NPs with 2+ years of experience $170,000 annually for Senior Pain Management NPs Flexible compensation structure (hourly or salary options available) Comprehensive health insurance CME allowance Scrub allowance Paid time off Professional liability insurance Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Retirement plan Tuition reimbursement Vision insurance Pain Medicine Pain Management : 1 year (Preferred) New Haven, CT 06511 (Required)
oin our established pain management practice as a Nurse Practitioner. We are seeking a dedicated professional with at least 2 years of experience to provide comprehensive pain management services as part of our team of 3 providers.
Qualifications
- Current Nurse Practitioner license in good standing
- Master's degree or higher in Nursing
- Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner (pain management experience preferred)
- DEA certification and controlled substance prescribing authority
- Strong clinical assessment and patient management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
