Registered Nurse - MedSurg / Tele Float Pool

Location

This position is located in a facility in the vicinity of a designated city and state.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

The shift for this role is 12-hour nights, with requirements to work weekends as scheduled.

Job Description

This position is for a MedSurg / Telemetry Float Pool RN responsible for providing high-quality patient care across multiple units. The nurse will float primarily between 6N and 7N units, and other MedSurg units as needed. Strong clinical skills and the ability to adapt to varying patient care environments are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Fast-Paced MedSurg / Telemetry environment.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Administer medications and perform treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to create and update patient care plans.
• Document patient care and progress accurately in the electronic medical record (Epic).
• Assist in the orientation of new staff members as needed.
