Job descriptionA BS or MS in Civil Engineering; EIT Certification required, PE licensed preferred; Minimum 5 years experience in civil engineering; Proficiency in Excel, Word, AutoCAD, Carlson Civil, or Civil 3D and hydraulic design software required; Well organized, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize work; Candidate will have good communication skills, both written, oral and listening, and good interpersonal skills as well as ability to work and interface well in a collaborative project team environment. Job Summary
Klober Engineering is looking for an experienced engineer to join our team. Interested candidates must have a willingness to perform general civil engineering tasks supporting various project types.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Preparation of due diligence / site analysis;
- Preparing engineering or technical computations and preparing design solutions;
- Preparation of conceptual / schematic site plans including layout, grading and drainage plans, earthwork calculations, stormwater management, and utility plans;
- Preparation of construction documents including demolition plans, layout plans, erosion control plans, grading and drainage plans, stormwater management, utilities, site details, transportation improvements, and project cost estimates / analysis, etc.;
- Preparation of reports;
- Field data collection and characterization;
- Observation of construction or site work.
