LifePoint is seeking a travel Respiratory Therapist for a travel job in Price, Utah.

Position : Travel Respiratory Therapist Shift : 5 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM Location : Castleview Hospital, Price, UT Assignment Type : Travel

Overview

Castleview Hospital is seeking an experienced Travel Respiratory Therapist to join its clinical team. This position is designed for professionals who are dedicated to providing high-quality respiratory care and thrive in a hospital environment.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver respiratory therapy treatments and procedures as prescribed by physicians.
  • Manage and monitor patients requiring mechanical ventilation and advanced respiratory support.
  • Assess, evaluate, and document patient respiratory status and progress.
  • Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, and chest physiotherapy.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions, treatments, and home care practices.
  • Maintain and ensure proper functioning of respiratory therapy equipment.
  • Adhere to infection control, patient safety, and confidentiality standards.

    • Qualifications

  • Current Respiratory Therapist license in Utah (or eligibility to obtain).
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential preferred; Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) considered.
  • Minimum of 2 years recent hospital-based respiratory therapy experience preferred.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required.
  • Strong clinical skills and ability to respond effectively in emergency situations.
  • Excellent communication and patient care skills.
