Account Executive - Commercial

Dominion Financial Services (DFS) is a mortgage originator for single-family real estate, specializing in two main loan products : short-term bridge loans for fix-and-flip investors and long-term rental loans for landlords expanding their portfolios. DFS is thriving in the competitive mortgage landscape, showing consistent quarterly growth and a current origination volume of $70MM per month. We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Account Executive - Commercial to join our team and help us expand our broker business with our DSCR and Bridge products.

  • In This Role You Will :

    • Oversee day to day loan servicing operations.
    • Track and report employee performance
    • Ensure incoming phone calls are answered
    • Ensure customer tickets are processed in a timely manner
    • Resolve tier-3 borrower issues
    • Oversee loan extension & draw process
    • Compile and generate extension fee quotes, payoff and default statements
    • Ensure proof of insurance is tracked and force placed insurance is applied when needed
    • Ensure mortgage payments are received and documented properly
    • Ensure monthly statements are sent to borrowers in a timely manner
    • Requirements :

    • 3+ years of mortgage servicing experience
    • 2+ years of management experience
    • Experience with departmental cross training
    • Hard money lending experience is a plus
    • Analytical thinking skills to include summarizing information and clearly identifying key elements, patterns, results and / or relationships
    • Advanced verbal and written communication skills
    • Technically savvy with the ability to pick up new systems quickly
    • Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills
    • Advanced critical thinking and problem-solving skills
    • Advanced skills interpreting, applying, and explaining written and oral regulations, and instructions
    • Applicants must be a self-starter
