Typical Day in the Role

• Purpose of the Team : This is the Marketing & Web Development team and maintain Lucidmotors.com. The team works closely with the IT on order systems, financing of vehicles and other features within the website. They are small but mighty with 6 members total in the department.
• Key projects : The team recently worked on migrating the website into a different system and now working on building out new components such as re-designing where the customers can view their vehicle data, vehicle estimates, owner manuals and other QA development projects.

Candidate Requirements

Top 3 Hard Skills Required + Years of Experience

1. Minimum 8 years experience with Jira

2. Minimum 8 years of extensive Manual & Automated testing experience

3. Minimum 8 years experience with Cross browser testing tools including Browserstack and Playwright.

Summary :

The main function of a QA Test Engineer is to develop, implement, and document all testing activities, including test planning, test documentation, test execution, defect tracking and reporting, including follow-up and issue resolution.

Job Responsibilities :

Execute test plans, scenarios, scripts or procedures Test system modifications to prepare for implementation Develop testing programs that addresses areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, or usability Document software defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to software developers Identify, analyze and document problems with program function, output, online screen or content Monitor bug resolution efforts and track successes Create or maintain databases of known test defects Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates
