Construction Safety Director
As Safety Director / Manager, you will own and coordinate all safety programs, compliance, and training across projects and teams. Key responsibilities include overseeing OSHA compliance and workers' compensation programs, partnering with GCs and internal teams on safety initiatives, developing and implementing company-wide safety programs, conducting job hazard assessments and providing actionable reports, ensuring all staff meet required safety training standards, leading safety meetings and increasing awareness at the project level, and managing and mentoring assistant safety managers and field reps.

You're a proactive safety leader with a strong understanding of OSHA compliance and construction safety programs. You thrive in a collaborative environment and can influence safety culture across multiple sites. Ideal qualifications include 5+ years of safety management experience (GC or subcontractor), background in drywall oversight is a plus, strong knowledge of OSHA standards and compliance, ability to lead and mentor safety teams, excellent communication and reporting skills, Microsoft Office proficiency, Spanish language skills highly preferred, and STSC certification or ability to obtain.
