Food & Nutrition Center Volunteers Needed

Community Services Agency distributes over a ton of food each work day to low-income individuals and families, minimizing their food insecurity.

Volunteer tasks include :

• check food expiration dates
• sort, package, shelve, and or refrigerate food items
• assist clients with food selections
• assist clients with checkout
• clean up work areas as needed and or at the end of the shift
• perform any other functions as determined by the FNC assistant.

Skills required :

Ability to lift minimum of 25lbs

Enjoy working with a team.

Age requirement : Must be 14 years old

Volunteer times are Monday - Friday. 9 : 30am- 12 : 30 pm (sorting and shelving) or 12 : 30 pm- 4 : 30 pm (helping with food distribution)

Training is provided.
