Job description

Locums OB / GYN Clinic + Call Paducah, KY Why This Role

  • Coverage needed due to staffing shortage in a busy OB / GYN service
  • Hospital-based practice with onsite labs and ultrasound
  • Opportunity to manage a range of obstetric cases including high-risk deliveries

Assignment Details

  • Start Date : November 6, 2025
  • End Date : December 15, 2025
  • Coverage Type : Clinic + Call
  • Coverage Dates :
  • Nov 6-10 - Nov 24-Dec 1 - Dec 8-15
  • Setting : Inpatient - Labor & Delivery
  • EMR : Epic
  • Privileges : Required
  • Estimated Credentialing : 30 days
  • Beds : 17 total (12 postpartum, 5 birthing suites)
  • Nursery : Level II
  • Delivery Volume : 746 deliveries last year
  • Support : Midwives take call and deliver their own patients

    • Requirements

  • Board Certified OB / GYN
  • Active Kentucky license (IMLC accepted with active LOQ)
  • BLS
  • DEA
  • COVID vaccination preferred
  • Must be able to cover any listed dates (no exceptions)

    • Clinical Details

  • Obstetrics :
  • Vaginal and low forceps deliveries - Decision-making and performance of C-sections - Complicated deliveries (breech, multiple births, abruptions, etc.) - VBACs - Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations Compensation
  • Rates : Facility is accepting bids
  • Malpractice : Provided
  • Travel : Reimbursed
