QA Automation Tester

Job Title : QA Automation Tester Location : Remote Duration : Long Term Contract Client : AFS Technical Skills : Years / Level of Experience Automation Testing Tools (3-5 yrs experience) Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Service (3-5 yrs experience) Role Description : We are seeking a detail-oriented Automation Tester specializing in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Customer Service). The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our Dynamics 365 solutions. You will collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to deliver robust, scalable, and high-quality business applications. Test Automation Development : Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for Microsoft Dynamics 365 applications using appropriate test automation frameworks and tools. Test Planning & Execution : Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test data for functional, regression, integration, and performance testing. iii. Continuous Integration : Integrate automated tests into CI / CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and rapid feedback. Defect Management : Identify, document, and track defects; collaborate with development teams to ensure timely resolution. Requirements Analysis : Work with business analysts and stakeholders to understand business processes and translate them into test scenarios. Test Reporting : Generate and communicate test results, coverage metrics, and quality status to stakeholders. vii. Best Practices & Standards : Promote QA best practices, maintain test documentation, and ensure compliance with organizational standards. viii. Manual Testing Support : Perform manual testing as needed to supplement automation efforts or validate complex scenarios. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in - Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in test automation, preferably with Microsoft Dynamics 365 products. Proficiency with test automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, EasyRepro, RSAT (Regression Suite Automation Tool), or similar. Experience with scripting languages (C#, JavaScript, PowerShell) for test automation. Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 architecture, modules, and business processes. Experience with CI / CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, etc.). Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with MS Dynamics products at the Department of Veteran’s Affairs Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate). Knowledge of API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI). Microsoft Dynamics 365 or QA certifications. Experience with performance and load testing tools. Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodologies. Prior experience collaborating with Veterans Affairs stakeholders to optimize CRM workflows and enhance service delivery. Demonstrated experience implementing or supporting CRM systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics) within a federal agency environment. Proven knowledge of Department of Veterans Affairs operations, policies, and programs, with an emphasis on client-facing technology solutions.
