Assignment Highlights Location : Utica, New York Contract Type : Locum Tenens – Emergency Medicine Physician Start Date : ASAP Duration : Long-term (6 months) Shift Options : 6a–6p 8a–8p 11a–9p 1p–9p 6p–6a 8p–8a Average Monthly Shifts Available : 12 Shift Type : Night shift priority with additional day / evening openings Coverage Model : MDs and APPs Annual ED Volume : 70,000 ED Beds : 62 Patient Volume : ~2.2 patients per hour Hospital Size : 423 beds Trauma Level : III EMR : Epic Supervision : APPs and Residents Code Response : EM Team Candidate Requirements Board Status : ABEM or AOBEM required Licensure : Active New York medical license required Certifications : PALS (required) ACLS & ATLS required if not yet Board Certified Experience : Minimum 3 years Emergency Medicine experience Privileges : Full credentialing only (no temporary privileges) File Status : Must be completely clean – malpractice and background reviewed Why This Opportunity?
