Key Responsibilities
Diagnose, repair, and maintain industrial HVAC systems, including heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration units.
Use HVAC-specific testing equipment such as gauges, multimeters, leak detectors, and refrigerant recovery machines.
Calculate system requirements including CFM, refrigerant charge, and load specifications for optimal system performance.
Interpret schematics, service manuals, and technical documents to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
Maintain detailed service records and communicate clearly with project managers and clients.
Work independently across job sites, adapting to unique technical and environmental challenges.
Safely operate a company or personal vehicle for transportation to and from job locations.
Follow verbal and written instructions while maintaining high standards of accuracy and safety under time-sensitive conditions.
Travel required to different rig locations including West Virginia, Pittsburg and Ohio
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of HVAC service experience in industrial or commercial settings.
Strong working knowledge of HVAC theory including thermodynamics, airflow principles, and control logic.
Proven ability to perform advanced troubleshooting of HVAC and refrigeration systems.
Proficient in HVAC load calculations, airflow measurements, and refrigerant handling.
Self-directed, reliable, and able to work without direct supervision.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
No formal certifications or degrees required-hands-on expertise is what counts.
