Sunstates Security is hiring Full & Part-Time, Unarmed Security Officers in the Portland area. The pay rate for this position is $22.75 / hr - paid weekly

Requirements :

• One year of Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience preferred.
• Oregon DPSST unarmed security license required
• Driver's license required
• Clean Driving record
• Have reliable transportation to and from work
• Excellent customer service skills
• Must regularly stand or walk for extended periods of time and distance.
• Must always be accessible for phone communication.
• Mentally analyze a situation, solve problems, and make decisions under pressure in the area of responsibility.
• Read and understand written instruction and communicate information and ideas in clear and concise written form.
• Exceptional Report Writing Skills
• Willing and able to work holidays and weekends.
• Willing to work in all weather conditions.
• Certain positions at Sunstates require our officers to walk in excess of 1 hour or 2 miles on a single patrol, sometimes multiple times per day
• Certain positions at Sunstates require our officers to remain on their feet for 2-3 hours per rotation with minimal movement.
• Certain positions at Sunstates require our officers to work alone at night with minimal interaction while remaining alert, awake and actively engaged in site monitoring.

A Security Officer may perform a multitude of duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The Shift Supervisor must read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP and will be able to act quickly and efficiently according to such directives. Sun123
