Shop Manager
Position Summary : The Shop Manager is responsible for the overall management and daily operations of the Rogers facility warehouse and grounds. This role ensures efficient warehouse operations, material handling, equipment maintenance, and a safe, organized work environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, mechanical aptitude, and a proactive approach to operational excellence and safety.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage and oversee all shop and warehouse functions at the Rogers location, ensuring operational efficiency, safety, and adherence to company standards.
- Fabricate Monoform systems, cut Agru materials, and manage the staging and movement of materials as required.
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment; coordinate with service providers for major repairs as needed.
- Prioritize daily tasks and manage workflow to support multiple business units operating from the facility.
- Collaborate with project managers, field crews, and internal departments to ensure timely preparation and availability of materials and forms.
- Maintain accurate inventory records for tools, materials, and equipment.
- Ensure the shop and yard are consistently clean, safe, and well-organized.
- Lead and promote the company's Safety Culture by maintaining high safety standards in the shop and yard.
- Supervise and train shop personnel, promoting a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Monitor equipment usage and maintenance logs to ensure operational readiness and compliance with safety requirements.
Qualifications :
